Mako Squad

​

This squad has an intense focus on all four strokes and technique.

 

The expectation for graduating from this class is that the swimmer will be able to join a competitive swimming squad.

​

Classes are 30 minutes in length and can have up to 5 participants in each class.

​

We run these classes Monday - Sunday at both our facilities - Miramar North and Berhampore School pools. 

​

We also have a cap policy at our swim school - all children aged 3 years and older we want wearing swim caps for their lessons (unless they have very short hair). The reasons for this is two fold as we have a problem with hair going through our filtration systems and pumps as well as that for children it can at times make it easier for them to swim if their hair is all tucked away in a cap.

We have a good range of caps (in different materials to suit all our swimmers) and goggles available for purchase through our Little Makos Shop or you are welcome to bring your own to the lessons.

Pricing:

Lessons are priced at $180.00 per child for the term (10 lessons).
We offer a 10% family discount off the total price for booking more than one child from the same family for lessons.
 

We are currently booking for Term 1, 2026 running Monday 26th January through to Sunday 5th April. 

Please note that we run on public holidays so the pricing is the same regardless of the day you swim.

We are running a one week school holiday intensive program from Monday 19th - Friday 23rd January at both pool facilities with class times between the hours of 8.00am - 1.00pm

​

The cost for the 5 days is $90.00 with a 10% family discount for families booking more than one child in for classes with us. Your child will swim every day at the same time for 5 consecutive days and is a great way to kickstart your child's swimming.
