ORCA Squad

This squad is focused on building technique and fitness by training two times per week for 45 minutes.

​

These squads will have a technique focus for the first 15 minutes of each class on all 4 strokes as well as starts and turns for joining a swim club, the last 30 minutes of the class is building fitness and stamina.

​

The aim on graduating from the Orca Squad is that swimmers will be ready to join a swim squad or play other aquatic sports such as Water Polo, Underwater Hockey and Diving.

​

Classes are 30 mins in length and can have up to 6 participants at our purpose built facility. Swimmers in this squad will train twice a week.

​

We also have a cap policy at our swim school - all children aged 3 years and older we want wearing swim caps for their lessons (unless they have very short hair). The reasons for this is two fold as we have a problem with hair going through our filtration systems and pumps as well as that for children it can at times make it easier for them to swim if their hair is all tucked away in a cap.

We have a good range of caps (in different materials to suit all our swimmers) and goggles available for purchase through our Little Makos Shop or you are welcome to bring your own to the lessons.

Price:

 

Lessons are priced at $180.00 per child for the term (10 lessons).
We offer a 10% family discount off the total price for booking more than one child from the same family for lessons.

We are currently booking for Term 2 2024 running Monday 29th April through to Sunday 7th July.

We have two school holiday intensive programs running in April:

Week 1 at Berhampore School from 15th -19th April with Ellie and Tyler 

Week 2 at Miramar North from 22nd - 26th April with Brenda

​

The cost for the 5 days is $90.00 with a 10% family discount for families booking more than one child in for classes with us. Your child will swim every day at the same time for 5 consecutive days and is a great way to kickstart your child's swimming.
