NZ Waterpolo Flippa Ball League

Flippa Ball is a FUN and exciting water based ball sport aimed exclusively at students years 3 to 8, owned and operated by New Zealand Water Polo (NZWP).

Fun Filled and Unbeatable

Fun and competitive it delivers all the benefits associated with sport and physical exercise plus with the unique set of skills and practices that it teaches it helps to make students who play it significantly more competent in the water without them even knowing it.

Team skills

Teams are made up of 7 players and the aim of the game is to score goals in the opponents goal using one hand - it is played in shallow water which means everyone can play no matter how well they can swim, because you can always put your feet on the ground.

League Information:

Harbour City Waterpolo Club in association with New Zealand Waterpolo will be running a Flippa Ball Schools League in Term Three 2012.
Venue: Berhampore School Aquatic Centre

Day and Time: Wednesday Afternoon - Games run from 4pm - 7pm

League Entry Fee: $150.00 per team for the competition
The League will be run in three divisions:
Year 3 & 4
Year 5 & 6
Year 7 & 8
All participants in the competition will receive a Ribena Pack with Player of the Day certificates awarded each week, Updated results and draws will be sent out culminating in finals day.
